1. Teach your potential customers something new.

By that, you can build a relationship with them.

To do that, you can provide them with free ebooks, articles or courses.

2. Always give your visitors the opportunity to

come back to your website by giving a series of

software, ebooks or articles.

publish testimonials for them too. It will help to

increase their value and if they are viral marketing tools,

you will have more people giving them away too.

4. Everyone loves freebies.

When you have a lot of freebies to share or

48 hours left to your targets

Friday, December 29th, 2006

Have you made your resolution for year 2007? We are less than 48 hours left to 2007.

I have read somewhere that “A year on the internet is equivalent to 7 years in the real world.” does this sound like the chinese saying “A day in heaven is equivalent to a year on earth.” There is no way to prove the chinese saying but I feel that it is certainly true for the internet marketing saying. Things are changing so rapidly on the internet that it becomes too fast for us to catch up with.

This adds on to the problem of information overloading that all of us are facing right now. The only secret to overcome this is simply to focus, focus and focus on whatever you are doing now.

  • Focus, hocus, pocus

Focuse

Distraction is one of the major reasons for many internet marketing failures. Opportunities are popping up everywhere saying that we can make lotsa money within a short time. I personally feel that miracles does not happen everyday and  these people may have failed many times in the past. We should never give up and who knows, we may be the next miracle.

Pen down your resolution now. Be as precise as possible. Bring your ideas to the real world and infuse them with life so you will never forget them. Success may be just around the corner.

‘I’ in IMarketing

Without the ‘I’ in Imarketing, we would not be able to do business on the internet. First of all, know what is required of your business. A website is absolutely essential if you are going into business. There is no need to learn html before you can set your website. A web host usually provides a web builder to help you get a basic website up. But, it is useful to know some html if you are going to tweak your site. It is troublesome and expensive to have someone to make a small change in your site.

Know your auto-responder. This is the most important tool you should have to build up a responsive and profitable list. There are basically two types of auto-responder. One is script based and is installable on your site and the other is by paid subscription. For me, I would go for the paid subscription simply because the list is the life line of any business. You can’t afford to lose your list due to stupid reasons like the script is not working or the site database server has crashed due to unknown reasons. helping hand

Similar to the nature of the auto-responder, there are 2 types of ad trackers, script based and by paid subscription. Again, you would like a paid subscription ad-tracking service to keep track of your advertisements placed on your advertising websites. In this way, you would know whether that ad is making you any money. In this way, you will save on you advertising dollars by doing away with useless ads.

There are many more tools which I will not cover today but I would to recommend an all-in-one solution for absolute beginners who want to start on internet marketing. With the ultimate marketing center, you will save lots of money instead of subscribing to these services individually.

Using Blogging to Drive Sales Crazy

Have you been in a situation whereby you read your dear friend’s online diary instead of calling her up to know what she is doing? Or perhaps, you are just curious to know how a mega-billionaire life is? Again, you may search for his online diary to know more about his life. In these two simple scenarios, it shows that online diary, or what we call “blogging”, is one of the most recent and personal trends.

As what I have mentioned earlier, it started as online journals which were kept by dedicated bloggers about their own lives, works, problems, etc etc. Practically anything they want to speak off their mind. Today, blogs are growing in popularity as marketing tools and they are a new form of communication that is here to stay. Because blogs are so powerful to create the sense of a “personal” relationship between the blogger and his readers, it makes it so easy for the readers to trust the blogger. By keeping a blog of you own, it invites readers to share your personal life and to trust you. In turn, this makes a great marketing tool and a way to build rapport with the readers. One thing good about using this tool is that people tend to trust what they read in blogs (since it is from other’s experience). This makes it a great place to spread information about your site and niche market.

For example, if you mentioned that you know of an effective way to kill bed bugs and helped you to eradicate the problem, that’s a very personal statement. Almost everyone who reads your blog regularly has almost certainly built up a trust for you, and talking about the method in your blog will make them think of trying it.

Now, if your website is selling methods to kill pests, you may have closed some sales. In fact, if you have introduced and talking about it, without selling the methods, for a long time and even tried it yourself, this will definitely increase the level of confidence customers have in these methods.

In all, blogging is another up and coming intimate sales tools to win trust in your customers. Hence, be sure to build this trust with your customers and make sure that the sales of the methods/ products will truly help your customers, because lost trust can never be regained.

Evolutionary IMarketing Success

A little intro to our site evosuccess.com. Our blog focuses on delivering great ideas on the internet regarding internet marketing. Notice the ‘I’ in the IMarketing word, the I is small because I want to remind everybody that marketing is the most important part in doing internet marketing and that the Internet is just a medium for us to do out marketing. Many people don’t understand how the internet marketing business works simply because there are many pitfalls inherent in today’s market.

Today, the internet is a fertile market place for everybody to earn a big profit. With the internet, we can reach out to markets which we have not imagined before. Always remember that we are marketing to real people. It is important that to address people’s problem with a personal touch. Understanding people’s problems is the best way to attract customers and is the important task at hand. Research should be done before offering any products to solve their problem. You don’t want a market to a few people with such problem.

Traffic is of secondary importance when it comes to internet marketing though it is often hyped to be the most important element in the Internet marketing business. The most important thing is what you do with the traffic. There are many traffic generation methods around but it is not necessary to master all of them. Being a jack of all and a master of none is really detrimental to your business.

Lastly, do not jump at any profit making opportunity or secret that comes along. Often, these opportunities may be real but with so many people jumping at it at one time, there may not be much potential left of it to make you a handsome sum of profit. The hype will be over when everybody has no more chance to make a quick profit. In any case, we would always want to build our business on a solid foundation and not on shaky ground.

Always stay focus in what you are doing, and you would see results in a while. Do not be discouraged when you don’t see any results immediately. Try to improve and fine-tune it. Do not give up as success may be just around the corner. Wish you success in everything you do.
