It is nice to dabble with affiliate marketing when you first started out as an Internet marketer. But I guessed many people do not have any sustainable profits. The theory is nice before the reality gets ugly. This explains why many affiliate marketers failed without earning a single paycheck.
Are they not doing the right things in the first place?
Internet marketing is picking up at a really fast pace in Singapore. This could be seen from the huge influx of people getting into Internet marketing and more Internet marketing seminars appearing in Singapore to create a wave of interest in Internet marketing. I have personally attended the World Internet Summit Singapore.
It is important to choose a good domain name for your website. Having a domain name which is able to attract high organic traffic is already half the battle won. With viewers/ customers typing in your domain name to search for products which they need desperately, you are able to profit with these free traffic. Yes, there are people who will just put in products/services which they need into the address bar straight away, without the use of search engines. This leads us to the first method of choosing a high traffic domain name.
If you havent been visiting Alexa, then perhaps it is time for you to take a look at your Alexa rankings. They have a new look to their traffic rankings page. Now, they have included bar charts of visitors of various countries coming to your website and it looks something like this.
Besides that, they also put in your website’s ranking in the different countries, on the same page for our reference.
The test result is out! I did an experiment to see the effect of inconsistent blogging has on my Alexa ranking. True enough, my ranking suffered a dip. Seems that inconsistent blogging do hurt your traffic significantly if you do not have a consistent stream of traffic. Remember that I mentioned previously that blogexplosion can increase your traffic significantly though it may not be targeted. I feel that massive blog exposure is the key if you are still a newbie. You may not be able to sustain a targeted stream of traffic if you still do not have enough content on your blog.

Traffic being the lifeblood of any website is the single main driving motivation for a blogger to continue blogging. Every blogger will want their voice to heard across the planet. Every voice plays a part in shaping our world. Without them, the internet is just another cold lonely place.
Traffic is always a problem for a newly setup blog. I have been there before. When I first set up my blog, there were no readers in sight for days. It seems that I am blogging for myself since I am the only reader for my blog.
Is there any secrets in affiliate marketing? Many affiliate marketers are bombarded by so many money making opportunity everyday until most of them are brainwashed to believe that there is some magic formula that is readily for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that.
