Cody Moya is a creative internet marketing expert whom I like. His articles usually filled with useful ideas and most of the time, ideas which we usually overlook. Recently, I have came across one of his articles on “15 Creative Ways To Make Money With eBooksâ€. Some of his ideas are really brilliant and I will like to share them with you and some of my thoughts about it.

I think this is a good idea suggested from Cody Moya, though some of the internet marketing gurus have already been using this method. When people have downloaded the free version and read it, they will be more confident of your product based on the free version. In fact, when they have read the free one, they will be more tempted to find out more from the paid version. Hence, they are more willing to pay for your ebook. The best part is, when you allow people to give away your free version of the ebook, these people will become your “affiliates†and help you to reach a wider pool of potential customers!

Purchase reprint rights to other people’s ebooks an combine them with your in a large package deal or private ebook library web site
This is a sneaky way for lazy people to leverage on other people’s work and earn money out of it. When you buy reprint rights, you need not start to write an ebook from scratch. You can easily “steal†other people’s ideas, add in your ideas and repackage it to become your product. In this way, your ebook will be a better and more improved version than the original version. Of course, it is always best to have your own ideas. This method is only useful for beginners, though even beginners should also learn to think on their own.

Offer freebies that are related to the ebook your selling. It could be free monthly ebook updates, free e-zine, free consulting, etc

If you can offer free things like updates, e-zine, or consultation, I think your customers will love you. Instead of just getting what the customers have paid for, you are also providing them additional products to help them as well. This will help to add value to the products which you have sold. Divide your ebook into online newsletter issues. You could charge a reoccurring monthly subscription for people to view each issue
That’s another great idea suggested from Cody Moya. Instead of just making a one-time business deal with the customers, you can also divide your contents into server newsletter issues. In this way, you can charge your customers months after months, instead of just making a one-time sales. Then you will not have to worry that you are unable to find new customers to buy your product the next month, because there will be a consistent flow of sales coming to you.
