Do you earn enough Adsense money from your blog?

Are you making a killing at your Adsense ads? If yes, then let me congratulate you. You may like to share some strategies here as to how Adsense income can be maximised.

First, let me share a bit on what I think on maximising Adsense profits.

Adsense by itself could be thought of as an affiliate program of  Google. Google pays you a small sum of money when you direct your visitors to Google advertisers’ sites. There are keywords which will earn you lots of money when a visitor clicks on the ads related to that keywords.

So, to find out which keywords give the most bucks, use Adsense’s brother, Google Adwords to find out the keywords which have the highest minimum bid. These keywords will most likely give you the most Adsense money.

First select a theme based on these keywords. It is preferable to have a blog which focus on this theme. People loves to read blogs and may well click on your ads after reading your posts. Google loves blogs as well, you may earn some natural traffic if your post is indexed on the first page of results for some search terms.

I think in order to have an Adsense income, you must have good content on your site. When anybody first started out, it is not wise to have adsense ads without having a reasonable amount of content on it. A reasonable amount of content will not cause Google Adsense to be confused about the ads to put up.

Another reason why Adsense ads should not be put up first is that there must be sufficient traffic before you can earn a living with Adsense. Traffic is the lifeblood of a website. So you got to build a conent rich website before putting Adsense ads.

So to summarize, this is what you can do if you want to make a killing from Adsense

1) Set up a blog using Wordpress or blogger. You can choose to host it on your website. This is advisable because you must have the rights to your own content.

2) Research for “expensive” keywords to decide on the theme of your blog.

3) Blog everyday.

4) After getting a substantial amount of content, begin to attract traffic through social networking and by posting in high traffic forums.

That’s all. when you have a stable volume of traffic, you will start to earn a stable income from Adsense revenues.

Please share if you have other better ideas of earning Adsense revenues. Thanks.

I don’t have any suggestions for better ideas to earn adsense revenues, but I do recommend you checkout PayPerPost, an alternative service that uses an alternative method to pay their bloggers which I have found to be ultimately more profitable…
