Explode Your Blog Traffic
Traffic being the lifeblood of any website is the single main driving motivation for a blogger to continue blogging. Every blogger will want their voice to heard across the planet. Every voice plays a part in shaping our world. Without them, the internet is just another cold lonely place.
Traffic is always a problem for a newly setup blog. I have been there before. When I first set up my blog, there were no readers in sight for days. It seems that I am blogging for myself since I am the only reader for my blog.
Is this happening to you now? Nobody will know the existence of your blog unless you announce it to everybody. It’s a big problem, right?
Face it. The new blog simply does not have enough content to attract good traffic. With content building everyday, it may still takes a while for search engine to notice and index you. This will cause a blogger to lose interest in blogging since there is no reader except himself.
Here’s a solution which I have tried it before. A way to attract some traffic is to join social network like mybloglog. By reading other blogs, you might attract some people who see you in their widget to visit you.
Another better solution to quickly explode traffic to a newly setup blog is to apply this 3 techniques.
- Try to blog at least once a day
- Blog content which is closely related to the theme of your blog and just on anything you under the sun.
- Join blogexplosion to explode your traffic. Basically you earn traffic when you surf other’s blog. I guess this is what you do too. Bloggers generally loves to read what other bloggers are writing.
That’s about it. Do apply these techiques and you will soon see your first reader coming in no time.

Hi Lester,
Yes you do have traffic using blog exposion but the traffic that generated from this kind of site is not targeted. It all depend what kind of traffic you want. Those traffic that generate from this site usually visit your blog only once.
I think using mybloglog is better and leaving quality comment on other related theme blog drive more quality traffic. Blogging take time just like you say. Be patient and traffic will come.

[...] Remember that Lester once blogged about exploding your blog traffic and he recommended us to join BlogExplosion? Well, recently our blog went for a battle with another blog, with our miserable amount of credits. Though we have lost our first battle (unfortunately), we find that not all are lost. We found out something which is even more important than winning the credits from your opponents. What is it? [...]
I will be trying out blogexplosion. I registered under Jasmine Chee. Hopefully my traffic helps boost yours too.
I am blogging around 5 articles a week.
But after 2 weeks, the traffic is still rather low.
Hopefully blogexplosion helps.
I joined blogexplosion under JasmineChee which i supposed its you. Hopefully it helps both me and you
I am blogging average 5 articles per week, but traffic not picking up yet. Perhaps have to blog a longer period of time first.
Thanks for your guidance. Certainly helps beginners like me
Hi Junping,
I notice that you are using blogger to host your blog. I suggest that you register a domain name and migrate to the wordpress platform. You won’t want to drive traffic to a site which doesn’t really belong to you. Blogging everyday is good. But you must go out to look for traffic sources if you want to attract traffic. Joining mybloglog may be one way.
Btw, Jasmine is my co-partner managing this blog. Don’t worry
