Valentine’s Day is around the corner. In fact, we are just a couple of days more to Valentine’s Day! Just as all the love birds are feeling that love is in the air, there will surely be some of these love birds who are lost and dont know what to get for their other half. Most probably, they are still in the state of searching of a present. Hence, here are some ways as to how to improve your business sales and help these panicking love birds round us.

1. Guarantee an ON TIME Delivery

By now, it is only left with 3 days to the V day. If you can guarantee that your product is able to reach your customers on time and SUPER FAST, you have won more than half the battle already. They wouldnt want a situation whereby they are unable to give their bg/gf present on that day. (Trust me, gals will most likely remember that forever. Haha.) So if you are willing to fork out a bit from your pocket to send your products to the customers by air and make the delivery real fast, they will more likely to buy from you. If you unsure if your customers can give you the order on time for you to deliver, you can give a cutoff time after which deliver cannot be guaranteed. For instance, “We need your confirmation by 12:00 pm EST, Monday, Feb 12, to ensure on-time delivery on Valentine’s Day.”

Remember to feature this selling point prominently.

 

2. Additional Services like gift wraps and cards

On top of the main gifts which you are selling, you can provide additional services like gift wrapping services and cards as well. This will give you some additional income on top of what you sell. Have some e-forms for the customers to write down their thoughts on the cards and let them have 2–3 choices of cards and wrapping papers. Limited choices will help them reduce their headache of choosing again and this will also help you to have less hassle to get so many kinds of cards and wrapping papers. 

In fact, you can also tweak your delivery options so that the products can be delivered to the person receiving the gifts, instead of the buyer himself. This will save the customers some time from waiting to receive the gifts, then giving to his/her significant other. This will surely be another plus point to buy from you.

 

3. Emphasise INSTANT delivery

If you are able to provide instant delivery, that will be the BEST of all. Usually, that will be ebooks or whatever items which can be delivered electronically and it can be delivered as fast as your autoresponder could! Do allow your customers to print out in hard copies, if you are selling ebooks. Besides ebooks, you can also sell gift vouchers. For instance, the lady may know that his bf like something on computers. However, she is quite a computer idiot. Hence, she can just buy some online gift vouchers for him. This will allow the guy to get whatever he really needs. Besides, gift vouchers are easy available and can be delivered instantly!

 

In all, try to tweak your business strategies so that you can make a killing before this Valentine’s Day.
