Are you a full time or a part time affiliate marketer?
Is it better to be a full time or a part time affiliate marketer? I guess you will answer full time. Why? I guessed that you already know the answer. Being a full time marketer will put you in full control of your business.
When you are doing this part time, you may find it hard to sustain your enthusiasm for your business. You will not be able to concentrate fully because you have to continue to do your mundane job in the day. This eats away your energy and you might be too tired to continue at night.
This is very true for beginner affiliate marketers because most cannot afford to lose their full time job since it is their only source of income. When you are a beginner, you have to get the momentum before you can really get your business on autopilot and start to see some profits.
“I will convert to full time when I start to see profits coming in.”
But this day never seems to happen. I guess I was just like this when I first started. I always think that I can fall back on my job if this business doesn’t work out for me. No matter how excited I am at any life changing seminar, I will return back to my usual lifestyle after that.
It was till I went to this seminar which makes me determined to succeed in my online business. The speaker just asked a simple question: If you were to stop working tomorrow, how many days can you survive?
It was then it dawned to me that I couldn’t survive that long. Some people will be in trouble, if they stopped working the very next day (cos they are in debt).
“Think desperate to earn money”
This is the turning point whereby I start to take massive action to get the results that I want. I start to experiment things that I never done before for my business. I start to explore many strategies and techniques and keep track of those that work for me and those don’t.
“No one is going to help me in my business except me.”
With this mindset, I just seem to be so motivated and my working speed simply doubles. No matter how late in the night, I can still keep awake to work on my business. Results start to come in and some of them are quite encouraging.
I feel that I am becoming more like a successful affiliate marketer than before.
