BlackHat or WhiteHat?

Are you blackhat or whitehat?

Take your stand.

My definition of blackhat is to exploit a loop hole to gain an unfair advantage over your competitors, and to make a huge amount of money in the process. For eg. a blackhat method is to redirect huge amount of traffic to a site monetized with Adsense to milk Google of its money. Frankly, it is not illegal, but to build a business around blackhat strategies, you need to be always ahead of the victims you exploit. If you are not technically savvy, it is not likely your business will survive. If you exploit Google’s search engine loophole, it will just be a matter of time that Google react and cut off your business by patching the loophole. Normally, when you purchase any ebook on exploiting a loophole which can earns you a huge amount of money in  a short time, that loophole will very likely be closed soon since the victim (e.g. Google) may have also bought the ebook to find out what loopholes you are exploiting. Thus, the loophole will be gone forever in a short time while the ones who sells the secrets earn a large amount of money and disappear underground.

It seems that there are always such ebooks that teach you these type of tricks. But frankly, why would anyone sell these secrets if they are making a huge profits out of it? I wouldn’t unless I know the loophole is discovered and will be closed soon. Sharing is always bad in such cases as this would cause the loophole to be exposed and closed down indefinitely.

Anything that is not blackhat is whitehat. I don’t advocate using blackhat methods but sometimes it is unavoidable. Always tweak your marketing strategies. If you are using Google Adwords, you must tweak your keywords for the best performance in terms of low CPC and high CTR. It is not always feasible to learn from ebooks because some of the techniques may be overused by the time you get them. But ebooks are good if you are too lazy to research the available marketing techniques and strategies. :)

One tip for people who are just starting out. Learning from an ebook is good only to identify the market trend and to know which product are popular. Remember it’s all about marketing. Marketing requires you to be always one step ahead of your competitors to be profitable. Join an insider group if you really wants to learn the latest techniques. Find the latest trend of marketing and provide a solution for the market. You may be well on your way to earning big profits.

See you at the top. :)
