So what do I mean by a marketing plan? It means how you are going to sustain your promotion for a period of time preferably forever with the niche earning you money on autopilot. If you just plan on creating a squeeze page and hope that buyers will come by, then you are just creating another empty house in the virtual world.

A rudimentary plan should includes a market research, some traffic generation methods, and some promotion strategies to make the buyers buy from you and not from others. Market research is the most important part of the plan. This is because the subsequent methods depend greatly on the niche you focus on and the product you are promoting.

If you are like me and have read tons of ebooks, you should have realised that most of the ebooks do not touch on techniques of researching the market or just barely scratch the surface and quickly move on to the next chapter. They will teach you things like to narrow down on the broad market bla bla bla. This is what everybody has already know. And so market research is the most prized skill which you should hone first before plunging into any market. I believe that the best way to hone your market researching skills is to do more research and more testing. The more you practise the better you become in selecting profitable niches.

With a profitable niche on hand and the product to sell, the rest is easy. I can easily list more than 10 methods to generate traffic. And the laziest method is to just outsource this part of the task to a traffic generation specialist.

Lastly, do split testing on your sales page or squeeze page to squeeze the most out of the traffic. Testing shouldn’t be outsourced unless you want someone else to know how much you are earning.

But for the benefit of those who don’t know, I hope to have the privilege to let you know that selling information is the best way to earn money online. I mean the startup capital is low, and what you need to do is to provide useful information to slowly bait your customers to buy from you. The only risk is that nobody buys your ebook and you waste all your time and money developing it.

If you don’t intend to spend a dime, you can make money too by using free resources which could be easily found on the web. Though it is better to leverage your efforts by spending some money. Some good things ain’t free after all. Well, someone got to spend some money to keep the wheel rolling.

Think all of us should learn from mistakes. I am not trying to procastinate here because I would rather try to think of more creative ideas to earn more money. Procastination is simply a waste of time and nobody is going to pity you. 

I used to rush through the whole night building a website just to be the first to promote a hot new product as an affiliate. Well, this has earned me quite a bit of money since I am the first to tap the traffic from PPC but it wasn’t the thing that I am looking for. I believe an internet business shouldn’t be like this. Earning money is one thing, but to build a business on just a night effort seems like it wasn’t going to last for long. This is proven as more sites will pop up later promoting the same product as you. Bummer!

And finally, like a pail of water splashing down my head, I finally realised that I can be the one coming up with marketing strategies to leverage on other people effort. Believe in yourself and you can do it. For the next few months, I will crack my head to come up with good marketing strategies to create stable money generating businesses and I will share some of them on my blog.

It even has photos showing you the way he did it. The report opens up many possibilites which you can use in your marketing efforts. But it may not be applicable in affiliate marketing. I personally feel that you must have your own business first before you can truly utilize offline techniques to your advantage. I may be wrong. You can share your views here after reading the report.

Overall it’s a good read even if you are not interested in the $1. But you can earn a few bucks if you want by simply refering your friends to read it. Anyway, opportunities like this one comes in a blue moon. Well, you may earn a cool hundred bucks if you have a hundred friends to downoad the report. Give away a free ebook and then give people an option of buying the paid version of the ebook. Also let others give away the free version of your ebook

I think this is a good idea suggested from Cody Moya, though some of the internet marketing gurus have already been using this method. When people have downloaded the free version and read it, they will be more confident of your product based on the free version. In fact, when they have read the free one, they will be more tempted to find out more from the paid version. Hence, they are more willing to pay for your ebook. The best part is, when you allow people to give away your free version of the ebook, these people will become your “affiliates” and help you to reach a wider pool of potential customers!

 

Purchase reprint rights to other people’s ebooks an combine them with your in a large package deal or private ebook library web site

This is a sneaky way for lazy people to leverage on other people’s work and earn money out of it. When you buy reprint rights, you need not start to write an ebook from scratch. You can easily “steal” other people’s ideas, add in your ideas and repackage it to become your product. In this way, your ebook will be a better and more improved version than the original version. Of course, it is always best to have your own ideas. This method is only useful for beginners, though even beginners should also learn to think on their own.

 

Offer freebies that are related to the ebook your selling. It could be free monthly ebook updates, free e-zine, free consulting, etc

Everyone loves freebies! (especially myself)

If you can offer free things like updates, e-zine, or consultation, I think your customers will love you. Instead of just getting what the customers have paid for, you are also providing them additional products to help them as well. This will help to add value to the products which you have sold. In a way, you have also make your customers to feel better and worth-while to buy your products. Thus, a good customer relationship is established.

 

Divide your ebook into online newsletter issues. You could charge a reoccurring monthly subscription for people to view each issue

That’s another great idea suggested from Cody Moya. Instead of just making a one-time business deal with the customers, you can also divide your contents into server newsletter issues. In this way, you can charge your customers months after months, instead of just making a one-time sales. Then you will not have to worry that you are unable to find new customers to buy your product the next month, because there will be a consistent flow of sales coming to you.

Just to share a bit with you on my result after implementing some of Ewen’s strategy. They will appreciate your help. Especially if you were to provide some help to those who are new to this business, they will be grateful. More likely than not, they will come back to your site to visit you and believe in what you mentioned. In a way, this can help to build up your reputation. Remember, the days whereby our teachers tell us to help and teach our friends and we will be better too? It is the same here. We will become better eventually. Who knows? We might get some help for the people we helped too.

2. Provide Tips

This will help you with the traffic to your website. People love free stuffs, especially tips and tricks which can ease their “pains”. If you are able to provide your readers with some tips, they will come back for more. Isnt that good? Sometimes, some of the visitors might even suggest better solutions which benefit you too.

Can we define a newbie as someone who have not earned a single cent on the internet?

How do we emerge from a newbie to an intermediate marketer who will start to earn some money from the internet?

I was a once a newbie. Being bombarded by so much opportunities online, I really couldn’t differentiate which one is real since every one claims to make million online if you follow the masterplan. Sometimes, I really wonder whether the whole thing about making money online is a scam.

Finding the right way is really tough. I was no longer a newbie when I adopted affiliate marketing as my business model. Affiliate marketing is really the best way to start earning money online.

“You don’t need a website to earn money”

Is this true? Yes. You could jolly well setup a Squidoo len to promote affiliate product.

You should know by now that Google loves Squidoo. So if you uses the correct tag with the related content, you can be indexed very easily on Google. This means tons of traffic.

Here’s some tips on setting up Squidoo len

1. Choose an appropriate URL for your lens that make it easy for people to remember
2. Choose a matching title to tell people what your len is about
3. Choose the modules which you think are essential for your lens
4. Choose revelant tags to alow search engine to index you easily

There are many modules which you can choose from. I personally used only the most basic ones like

• Text/Write Module
• Link List
• Guest Book

I guess these are enough to get my len to be indexed on Google.

Today, we will be covering some strategies which are observed from the gurus’ sites which are generating lots of money.

In business, we always like to think in terms of business model. This is likewise in internet marketing. With a model in place, you will be able to have money making machines which will make you money even without your attention.

First, you must understand the purpose of every model used and the components that make up the model. Be it in list building, traffic generation, building of brand name or to sell a product.

Using a poor designed internet business model for your business, you will see poor or no result at all.

So now I would like to share with you two models made from my observations.

Model 1

This is the most simplest model. Use pay per click to direct targeted traffic to your site. Have a squeeze page to capture your leads. Then send them to the merchant site. Thats it. All you have to do is to wait for the sales letter to convert your prospects.

Model 2

This is a variant of model 1. Instead of using pay per click, use articles to direct the targeted traffic to your site. The rest of the components are used in the same way as model 1.

With the model in place, you will need to constantly monitor your result to see if the conversion rate is good or not. If not, then you will have to review your campaign to get more targeted traffic. Or you got to promote another product with a better converting sales letter.

Hopefully these two simple models can make you lot of sales.
