Internet Marketing in Singapore
Internet marketing is picking up at a really fast pace in Singapore. This could be seen from the huge influx of people getting into Internet marketing and more Internet marketing seminars appearing in Singapore to create a wave of interest in Internet marketing. I have personally attended the World Internet Summit Singapore.
The best thing you can get from these seminars is the valuable contacts you get by networking with the participants. I say these because you still need to work hard after that in order to succeed in your business. You won’t earn an decent income straight away after attending the seminar. Maybe you are one of the few but I guess the majority still have to work hard in working smart.

My impression was that, WIS and those so called conferences with several Internet marketing gurus were no more than sales talk to get people to attend their even higher priced “advance” seminars.
The objective to attend these conference should be more for networking and rubbing shoulders with successful Internet entrepreneurs and nothing else.
For newbie wanting to gain knowledge, it is far for cost-effective to sign up for free e-course and spend time on DIY study and participating at forums. For those who are ready for more serious study, there are complete courses such as those available at marketingtips.com and sitepoint.com.
Marketingtips.com course are more geared toward Internet entrepreneurs and focus at email marketing while Sitepoint.com for more specialized topics.

I can’t agree more with you. This is why I came up with an idea of an e-course to help newbies. I was there before and I understand the feeling of being lost.
