Just out of boredom, I came out with my own ABC list for internet marketing. You might find it useful.

Autoresponder – Some may have it, while some are still thinking of whether there is a need to. However, I feel that every internet marketer should have it so that he can start collecting a list.

Blog – I seriously believe every internet marketer should have one.

Chocolate – After so much stress and excitement while working on your products/ projects, you may want to eat some chocolate. Haha.. But watch out of your weight. But jokes aside, you can look out on your conversion rates to observe how many of your readers actually become your customers.

Domain name – Getting a going-to-expire domain name may be useful since the previous owner may have done some things to attract traffic to this website already.

FTP – You may need this so that you can transfer your files more easily.

Google – A powerful search engine which you cannot underestimate. On the other hand, do make full use of it, since it is so powerful.

HTML – You cant avoid this. So try to learn this.

Impression – Each time your advert appears on the website, that is one impression.

Javascript – This is used to create interactive websites.

Keywords – Search for the keywords to optimise

Link – Do I have to explain more???

Marketing – Same as the above explanation

Netiquette – Though nobody is seeing you face-to-face, you do have remember to mind your manners.

Original – Remember to be creative and original in your posts. You dont really want to hear from your readers that your posts originated from others’ blogs.

Paypal – Register an account there so that you can do your payment there.

Quit your job – That must be one of your ultimate goal when you are doing internet marketing. If it is not, then please be focus in your present job.

Rush – When you are writing a sales copy, make sure that you create that rush-to-buy-your-products feelings in your potential customers.

SEO – Search Engine Optimisation. Read up more in this post.

Tea time – Though you are working hard all day, do take a break at times and relax your eyes. After that, think of more ways to attract traffic.

Unique visitors – Keep track of where your readers come from. This may give you some ideas about their interests and characteristics.

Viral marketing – A good way to get people to pass on the message.

Web design – In whichever website, do have a professional web design. People DO look at appearance.

X-rated – NO! You would want any of such things to be associated with you if you want to build up your reputation, unless you have other things in mind.

Yahoo! – Another search engine which you shouldnt neglect.

Zzzz – You will need lots of sleep and you will get to sleep alot when you are into internet marketing.
