How Many People Are Searching for YOUR NAME?
January 23rd, 2007 by Jasmine Chee
I happened to know of this website which let you compare 2 search terms, in terms of number of search results. In this way, you can also find out the number of search results for your name vs. the topic you want to be related to. It can be quite fun to see some of the fights which people keyed in. For example, my girlfriend and pamela anderson. Haha..

That aside, this website can have something useful for us, internet marketers.
Besides seeing how high the number of search results for your name, you can judge for yourself the terms which you want to optimise, though it might be troublesome to compare term by term. For instance, if you are dealing with pets, you might want to focus your website on dogs instead of cats. In this way, you can also make use of this to see which phrases you can use for domain names too!
Hence, have fun to find out how “well-searched” your name is.
ps: if you can think of another search term, you can just compare with my name: Jasmine Chee.
Important Keywords: googlefight, SEO, domain names, keywords, internet marketers, search terms
