Make money with your blog
Have you read my last post on “Blogging for money“?
Today, I am back with more tips. Hope that we can share with each other on how to make money with blogging. First, I would like to paint a big picture on how we can earn money online.
Basically, this is simple. You need a system. This system shall consists of two main components.
- Content + Targeted Traffic = Money
Content is by far the most important thing you should focus on creating. Remember that people come online to look for information. If you don’t provide useful information, these people may not come back again.
Content can be be classified into 2 types
- Broad based
- Narrow targeted
Both have their pros and cons. A broad based focus can attracted more traffic meaning more people will at least know something that you are talking about. The cons is that these traffic are less targeted and may not convert well if you are promoting affiliate products.
A narrow targeted type of content can attract more focused type of traffic but it may be harder to keep people coming back for more if your post are not stickiness enough.
Choose the one which you are comfortable in. And REMEMBER to just focus on one method.
Next, get the traffic you want to your blog. There are many ways to get free traffic.
- Article Marketing
- Forum Marketing
- Expired Traffic
- Traffic Exchanges
- Search Engine Traffic
- Social Traffic
- Blog
- Ezine Advertising
- …
- And many more…
Focus on one. And a bit from the rest. Every bit of traffic adds up. Attract and monetize them.
I will talk more about traffic monetization in the next post.
Stay tune for more.

I would also like to comment something on content as well as traffic, which is called the king of SEO. Your blog on this topic is quite good, and I can say you have focused on narrow targeted content. Content is a useful tool by which one can make money but one should also know how to use the content in proper way.
Only adding keyword stuff in content will not work but the content should contain unique words which should be easy to understand as well as should be targeted and relevant all throughout in terms to attract traffic.

Maria,
You are right. I agree that keywords alone does not mean anything. The keywords must be relevant to your content in order to convert your visitors. Else it’s just another blackhat hat technique to attract traffic. Thanks for pointing out!
