Lately, we found out of a way to boost our traffic and signed up for it. That is to write and submit articles to article directories. I suppose quite a number of us already know writing articles is another method to attract traffic to our blog. In fact, these traffic are mostly free traffic and part of them are quite targeted ones, since they have read your articles and interested to find out more from your website/blog. Also, as Google and other major search engines will go to these article directories to index for information, your articles will be indexed by these search engines too. Hence, you are able to enjoy the benefits of free traffic from both article directories and search engines.

There are many article directories on the internet. Therefore, you can imagine the potential of having so many backlinks from them. Moreover, when there are some webmasters found that your articles worth posting on their websites, then you will get even more backlinks. So can you see how powerful this technique can be?
We have seen it. Hence, we decided to sign up for article directories and started to submit articles to them. To our horror, there are over thousands of article directories! When I have signed up less than hundreds of them, my fingers got cramps (serious). Typing over and over again my particulars and and activating my account. It was really tedious. The worse part is to submit our articles to the directories. Lester and I have to submit one by one. It is really no joke about it. When we have submitted our articles to all the directories we have submitted, they found out one fundamental fault in our actions.
What is it? Google, and perhaps other search engines as well, hates identical and duplicate content. My god! This means all our efforts have gone to waste because we submitted the same article to all the directories. Google will only index 3–4 links only. So much efforts, yet it is useless. Until lately, we found JetSpinner. It is quite useful because it helps to us to register to over 300+ article directories and best of all, it is free. At last, we dont need to continue to register the rest of the article directories on our own. Also, it helps us to generate over hundreds of unique articles from your very own master copy. This will be good enough to “satisfy” the search engines. Anyway, we will also dont have the time to write over hundreds of unique articles or money to pay ghost writers to write so many articles for each and every directories.
Hence do use JetSpinner, instead of going through all the agony and mistakes which we make.

Writing articles that are relevant for people in your niche or industry is always a good idea. The SEO value is very much diminished nowadays unless you produce a high volume of content where I have my doubts that the quality remains good at the same time.
Adding the links to your site in your author bio is still important. Not because of SEO, but for humans that read the article.
The one thing the overuse of free re-print articles can’t take away is the ability to build credibility and direct referrer and targeted traffic.
Here are some more of the bigger and reputable article directories and another service, similar to JetSpinner you should consider. It’s the one I am using myself.
Cheers
Carsten
