This may come a bit late. But read on…
I have attended the World Internet Summit Singapore (WIS) last year and before that, I have the idea that there is something secret which are being shared to attendees only. There are many products given to us which we can sell to kickstart our internet marketing business immediately to earn money. And so I went to WIS with high hope that I can fire my boss immediately. I don’t have anything against my boss because he has treated me very well. I just thought that having a own business would do more good for me.
And so my partner and I went to buy the tickets for the WIS and went there happily with ambitions. In the event itself, then I realised that my thinking was way wrong. The main purpose of all these summit is to gain more exposure to what other people are doing and to get more contacts. What is this all about? Guess the WIS is the place for us to get contacts with wannabes internet marketers so we may have a chance for JV in the future. But there is something we couldn’t have gain if we were not there.
That is the many life changing concepts being taught at the summit. And we get to hear it from the horse mouth. This is what make it worthwhile to attend any summit. One thing for sure, the secret we learnt is that we must have the correct mindset to succeed in any business.
Here the 3 main concepts I have learnt and I want to share them with you:
- We can succeed if we want to change!
- Focus on what we want to do!
- Work smart and never give up!

To your evolutionary success!
Very few seminars are meant to be knowledge injecting but rather getting the participants together and give them the feel they’re not alone, you go back home satisfied, but if you haven’t written down any emails, you’ll be all lonely alone after a week or two.

The good thing of attending seminars together is that everyone who attend it will be “on the same page” when someone is discussing on a topic. It will be beneficial for those who have just started on the area as focus groups can be formed. In fact, focus groups can serve as a way to spark new ideas.
Great thought indeed!

I think seminars is more on networking that we can meet people who can help one another in the future be it JV or mentoring. But at times, some seminar are full of sale pitch. That my 2 cent worth.
